High-Access Commercial Cleaning — North Bay & Sudbury

The jobs other
cleaners can't reach.

Certified elevated work platform operators for skylights, atriums, warehouse racking, exposed ceilings, and high windows. Working from Heights certified. $5M insured. OHSA compliant.

Heights Aerial Platform Exterior

Certified Operators. Proper Equipment.

Working at Height Requires More Than a Tall Ladder

Under Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act, all workers performing elevated tasks are required to hold a valid Working from Heights certification. Operating elevated and aerial work platforms requires additional operator-specific training. These aren't optional — they're legal requirements that protect your workers, your property, and your liability exposure.

Binx technicians who perform elevated work are fully certified and trained on the equipment used for each specific job. Before any elevated work begins, we conduct a site assessment to confirm equipment clearances, floor load ratings, and access requirements. We coordinate with your facilities team throughout.

What We Clean at Height

Any interior or exterior surface that requires certified elevated access — we have the equipment and the certification to reach it.

High Windows & Skylights

Atrium glass, clerestory windows, skylights, curtain-wall exteriors, and high storefront windows that can't be safely reached from ground level or standard ladders. Interior and exterior. We leave them streak-free with the same professional results as ground-floor windows.

Exposed Ceiling Structures

Open-concept warehouse and industrial ceilings, exposed ductwork, HVAC equipment, steel beams, joists, and ceiling-mounted machinery. Dust accumulation on overhead surfaces contributes to air quality issues and creates fire risk in manufacturing environments — we clean it safely from certified platforms.

Warehouse Racking & Shelving

Top-level racking, pallet shelving, mezzanines, and elevated storage areas in distribution, manufacturing, and cold-storage facilities. Periodic racking cleaning is often required for food safety compliance, pest control programs, and general facility maintenance.

Light Fixtures & Overhead Equipment

Gymnasium lighting arrays, warehouse LED fixtures, parking structure lights, and any overhead equipment requiring safe platform access for cleaning or maintenance prep. We clean the fixture housing, lens covers, and surrounding ceiling surfaces in a single mobilization.

Exterior Cladding & Facades

Building exteriors, soffits, siding panels, signage, and cladding surfaces requiring elevated access for washing, degreasing, or spot cleaning. We assess the exterior surface type before selecting the appropriate cleaning method and pressure to avoid damage.

Atriums & Lobby Structures

Hotel and office atrium glass, decorative ceiling features, statement architectural elements, lobby walls, and high-mounted signage. These high-visibility areas reflect directly on your facility's first impression — we clean them with the care and precision they deserve.

Facilities We Serve

From single-storey warehouses to multi-floor commercial buildings — if it needs height to reach, we can clean it.

Warehouses & Distribution

High ceilings, racking systems, industrial lighting, and overhead HVAC in distribution centres, cold-storage facilities, and manufacturing plants require certified operators and proper elevated equipment.

Hotels, Arenas & Event Centres

Atrium glass, lobby ceiling features, and ballroom or arena lighting arrays demand both reach and professional finish. We coordinate with your operations team to schedule during low-occupancy periods.

Schools, Gyms & Institutions

Gymnasium ceiling fixtures, clerestory windows, community centre skylights, and government or institutional buildings with high-access cleaning needs on a scheduled or annual basis.

Cleaning from Heights — Common Questions

We use certified elevated work platforms (EWPs) and aerial work platforms (AWPs) matched to the specific site requirements — scissor lifts for open indoor areas, boom lifts for exterior and irregular access, and extension ladders or poles for lighter-reach jobs. All platform operators hold Working from Heights and Elevated Work Platform certifications as required under Ontario OHSA. Equipment selection is determined during a site assessment before any work begins.
We clean high windows, skylights, atrium glass, clerestory windows, curtain-wall exteriors, exposed ceiling structures, industrial ductwork, steel beams, overhead light fixtures, warehouse racking systems, mezzanine surfaces, building facades, soffits, exterior cladding, and any interior or exterior surface requiring certified elevated access. If you can describe the surface, we can tell you whether we can clean it.
Yes. All Binx technicians performing elevated work hold valid Working from Heights certification as required under the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Our operators are also trained and certified on the specific elevated work platform equipment used on each job. Before any elevated work begins, we conduct a site assessment to confirm equipment clearances, floor load ratings, and safe egress.
Yes. Most high-access cleaning is scheduled outside business hours, on weekends, or during planned shutdowns to minimize disruption. For facilities that cannot fully close, we section off work areas with appropriate safety barriers and coordinate with your facilities manager to keep other areas operational during the job.
Absolutely. Many clients schedule periodic high-access cleaning — quarterly or semi-annually — alongside their regular office or facility cleaning contract with Binx. Having a single provider for both routine and specialized cleaning simplifies coordination and invoicing.
Yes. All Binx crews carry $5 million in commercial general liability insurance and full WSIB coverage. We maintain a current WSIB Clearance Certificate and can provide certificates of insurance specific to elevated work on request for your property or project records.
